“Reading and Refreshments” is a monthly event dedicated to encouraging families to read out loud together. Each month, we choose one of the books that we have read out loud to the family and spotlight it on this feature, along with a recipe for a treat inspired by the story. Through this, we hope to lead other families to embrace the wonderful tradition of reading out loud. You can read more about the start of “Reading and Refreshments” here.
The complete archive of “Reading and Refreshments” is listed below. If you are inspired to recreate one of the “Reading and Refreshments” with your own family, we would love to hear about it! Tell us how your family enjoyed the book and whether or not you made the treat to go with it. If you can, send us a photograph as well. You can contact us at thesiblingwritery@hotmail.com.
